This week flew by, full of amazing wonderfulness and smiling, we smiled and laughed lots and lots this week! First and foremost I want to tell ya'll about Marco! This week was a complete 180, over the weekend he messed up his flooring and got really consumed and down on himself and so he resorted to drinking and just pushing off God. Well when he text us to cancel his appointment Tuesday we knew something was up and we weren't going to have it so wonderfully enough a member we had had dinner with sent us home with this favor she got from a party of a plastic wine glass with candies.. well we decided to take it to him and remind him that CHOCOLATE is better than alcohol! :) We show up and he is there were beers in the kitchen and one in his hand, he felt so bad but we had this great conversation about putting God first and turning to him rather than alcohol to solve his problems or worries. Well the next day we saw him at one of the ward members houses who had offered him dinner he looked SO much better and then the next day we had a lesson and ah it was just beautiful! This man is so sincere! We set him with a new baptismal date so he can really focus and be prepared for it, he told us he wakes up sometimes just wishing he was baptized and how his prayers he has been having, even the night he was drunk, helped him so much! Well on Sunday he came early to church, commented in class and just was so happy to be there and get away from everything else just to feel the spirit. In everything he says and just how he carries himself it is so beautiful to see the conversion process taking place and him literally changing and becoming closer to God! So wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! On top of just that we had another fabulous lesson with a recovering alcoholic that just recently relapsed and is searching for a better relationship with God, major blessing that occured was the member we chose to bring was simply perfect, they had things in common and you could just feel the power of the spirit and see how her testimony was hitting this man! The gospel is so beautiful I truly just love it so so much! At church another miracle was Sis. Weiss coming! She was a less active we visited months ago who for various reasons regardless of her strong testimony she just chose to avoid church, during our short visit this woman truly amazed me, she is incredible and just impressed me with so much (filled an entire page of my journal with just her.. haha) and it broke my heart to think she just wouldnt come back to church but when I got to see her there, it was just so touching! Such a blessing! This work is truly amazing! The message of sacrament meeting was "Come unto Christ" and our stake president shared about moroni 10:32-33.. Moroni's plea to "Come unto Christ and be perfected in him" how it is not on our own we are expected to be better and do better and live a celestial life but it is in him, with his help we are capable of doing that! So wonderful! I hope you will all remember to read your scriptures and pray to draw yourselves a little bit closer to your Heavenly Father! I love you all!!!!!!!!! Keep smiling!
