Week 9

This week was INCREDIBLE! Every single day was full of fabulous spiritual goodness and i soaked up every bit of it! The week started off amazingly well with an awesome unexpected contact with the man that washes our car and then we had another lesson with Adelina. She is on fire! That cute adorable old woman, she told her sister she did not want to talk to Jehovahs witnesses anymore that she liked our church, she is set for baptism and is ready and willing to learn as much as she can. She is so humble and so faithful she is amazing. It is wonderful to see someone find the truth after wanting it for so long and just not knowing where to find it! She came to watch general conference and just ate it up! She loved it and it was amazing! Speaking of.. CONFERENCE WAS UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh goodness i just get all excited simply thinking about it! Our Prophet and Apostels are incredible! They are so powerful and shared just the most inspiring messages! My testimony has become unshakable in the truthfullness and reality of the Lord's kingdom once again established on the earth. There is absolutely no way one could deny it, it all makes sense, it is all so beautifully plainly laid out for us to enjoy and follow! Saturday morning during studies before conference I was reading in the Book of Mormon and fell upon 2 nephi chapter 25, one of the very many just jammed packed "packages of light" (as Richard G Scott described) in which the message of the entire book of mormon is explained, we need the book of mormon, it is a declaration that Christ came, He was Resurrected, He Lives, and He will come again. Beautiful! Every single talk was outstanding and if there were any you missed you must go and read them because they are what God needs us to hear and do at this time! They arent just nice words to help us feel good, no! The talks given are the instruction we must do or we put ourselves at danger of an unsturdy foundation. None of us are exempt from the necessity of doing what the Lord asks us to protect us from the adversary. It's just so wonderful! Saturday morning conference we watched at a members house with another investigator and it was an amazing experience. Brenda, the investigator watched and loved it. To see the lights start to click in her was beautiful! We had a lesson right after and she just told us how she feels like God has let everything else fall away so that she could find this, she recieved answers from the words of the apostels and at the end the spirit was just so strong she started crying and it was just unexplainable the feeling that I had in being able to help her find the truth and see her. I LOVE THIS WORK! it is unbelievable truly and fully, during the talk from Kazuhiko Yamashita I was had the most wonderful realization and was overwhelmed with the amount of love I have for the people Heavenly Father has given me to work with.. they are amazing! They strengthen my testimony and resolve to be a true discilple of Christ. I love them, I love this work, I love the feeling of the Spirit, and I love that I know my Savior and have the ability to be his representative here in San Antonio for this period of time. I love Texas. Ugh I am just insanely happy and I know that it is only through this gospel that that is possible I know that true happiness only comes from our Heavenly Father and I hope that all of you are doing what you can to have the ability to feel that love and peace. Our Heavenly Father is aware of each of us! I love that. I love you and hope that all is well! Be happy.. "Keep Looking Up!"
