Goodness I am absolutely smitten by Uvalde! It is so charming! There are so many fun people here and getting lost walking down dirt roads, passing jack rabbits and horses you simply can't help but to smile and love it! We got to explore a little bit more of this area of Texas going to Del Rio for district meeting and visiting our members on the outskirts of town and this place is absolutely beautiful! Byron's baptism this week was wonderful! He was so happy and grateful for it all, his testimony afterward was beautiful! One of our investigators Fred told us of this awesome experience he had with the Book of Mormon during the week where he just couldn't sleep cause the scenes of all the chapters he had read kept replaying in his mind and he just couldn't help but read more and more when he had free time! It was amazing to here him describe it to us and help him see that that is Heavenly Father answering his prayers that it is true! I have been loving the Book of Mormon lately and just how much is jam packed into those amazing pages! It's exciting when you realize what a verse means in a way you had never thought before! Siria, a mom we are teaching, was able to learn more about the Holy Ghost from her reading and was asking awesome questions during our lesson this week. It's just great! Another great moment of the week was when Pepe a man that was recently baptized was telling us of how he had written a song about Christ after the Lord had answered one of his prayers. He had his guitar with him in his car and pulled it out and sang the song to us and it was so beautiful! Completely melted my heart this man, so sincere and it was a way good song! The people here are just the absolutely best part, I love it, and am having so much fun! All is well here in Texas, hope y'all are having a fabulous June! It is flying by!
