Week 27

Even with a surprising hail or sleet or something falling from the sky this week was another beyond beautiful week! The more time I spend here the more I just absolutely love this ward everyone is so unbelievably great! So many people and so many names to memorize but it really has been so fun! We had a great miracle happen after meeting this beautiful family that had been investigating in another ward but moved into our boundaries, we took them some treats and got to know them a little. They are from Brazil and so when we left we were trying to think of a great family that could friendship them in the ward. Well Heavenly Father blessed us with the ability to visit the family right around the corner from them in our ward who has a father that served in Brazil. They were excited and so willing to help us teach this family it was so great! Another similar experience was with a mormon.org refferal we had received this week. We contacted him and he seemed really stand offish and just got our number and told us he would call us when he could. Well just a day later he calls and we set up an appointment for yesterday and because it was last minute we kind of had to scramble to find a sister from the ward that could go with us. It was so wonderful the sister we were able to take ended up being absolutely perfect! She was older but completely related to him. His roommate is actually a less active member who is not against the church but doesn't want it and so the entire lesson was just perfect. It was so simple, everything just flowed, Jason is just so sincere in his desire to know, he accepted to be baptized and gave the most beautiful closing prayer it was beautiful! I love how Heavenly Father prepares people and how strong the spirit can be! We are really excited for him and for some of our other investigators right now who are just getting it, loving the book of mormon and it is just so great! The Lord has blessed us so much in this new area already and we are so excited to get to help the ward do their own missionary work! The gospel is beautiful! Be happy!
