Week 16

Goodness we had an AMAZING week this week! Of course Thanksgiving was wonderful! We got to go around to a bunch of members and investigators homes to share a quick gratitude message and they were all just beautiful! I have eaten my fair share of pumpkin pie! They love that stuff down here but it was all delicious! The people here are truly so amazing, I know I say that all the time but they are! I have learned so very much through the examples of the members and even non members about what it truly means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ! We had a simply beautiful lesson on Wednesday with Marco and a member of our ward. This sister is a rockstar, we discussed the Book of Mormon and the blessings of following Christ and she bore such wonderful testimony along with a great story about her conversion and losing her best friend because of it. The spirit was so strong and Marco is just truly so ready for the gospel! Going along with this idea of sacrificing for the gospel, sister williams and i were able to teach gospel principles on sunday and preparing for the lesson i went through and read all of the scriptures it suggested. The lesson was on the second coming of Christ and I was led to D&C 88:17-39. These scriptures are just so wonderfully plain and simple! If we want to enjoy endless bliss and celestial glory we must live by a celestial law! Living by a higher standard is not always easy but it is SO worth it! This gospel is so amazingly true! The work is going really well here! We are working with another great investigator who is going through crazy stuff in his life right now but he knows that the church is true because it just "feels" right. I love what the spirit can do! The work is truly centered around it and there is no way to do it without him! Sister Williams is another rockstar! We had a lot of fun this week in addition to all of the work and learning! Laughing about all of the crazy things that happen to us as missionaries is the best and there is truly nothing like it! I hope all of you had a wonderful thanksgiving and continue all the gratitude goodness throughout the month! (Psalms 100) I love you all! Be happy! Read your scriptures! :)
with love..
Sister Camarella!
