Week two.....
Well well my first full official week is now through and it flew by! Seriously all of the days and experiences blur together I don't even know where to start! This place is simply amazing! We've had A LOT of fun this week, our entire district has really bonded and they are my new family! We have all come out of our shells and continue to laugh constantly! Elder Wallentine is hilarious and does the greatest impressions simply his personality just brightens class. Four square for gym time has become a district must now and my skills are slowly growing! All of us Sisters have really bonded too! We had a fun night of late night munching and getting to know each other it was great! I was meant to meet these girls I was meant to be here right at this exact time! The new fleet of missionaries came in Wednesday so we are not the newbies anymore, it's crazy to see them all and realize that was me only a short week ago. The Mtc is really another dimension, time warps! Sadly Sister Hudson is going to San Diego so come tuesday i wont ever get to see her but she is going to rock it out there. Speaking of leaving my official departure date is Wednesday August 17th! I'm excited! I love airplanes so i am stoked! I'm stoked to simply get to texas! Don't worry I am soaking up all the humidity free weather I can before I peace out! I am ready to get to work but I love this place so much! I never knew I could be so productive in a day, my testimony grows every single hour! There are so many awesome examples here! I am honored to be able to be representative of Christ and share this message! I'm starting to get a hang of the lessons and how to effectively teach mostly because of our amazing teachers. We have two of the best they answer all of my questions and they help us have fun while we learn! All of Sister Maile and I's investigators are progressing which is the best feeling! I can not wait to get out and do this for real! To change real lives, to see the joy fill someone's life! It's awesome! Sunday was by far the best day of the week! It is so relaxing and rejuvenating! We had mission conference as well as it being fast sunday. The strength I was able to recieve from my fast was incredible I have such a greater understanding of what Sabbath day observance can do to help you and the importance of the sacrament. We had a zone testimony meeting and I could hardly stand it it was SO FULL of just goodness!! The elders and sisters I get to surround myself with bore such profound witness of the Savior and the role he has played for each of us! Through my study and through some of the messages shared last week I can not tell you my gratitude for Joseph Smith and the bringing forth of the Book of Mormon. That book is incredible! It is simply a must read. Regardless if one is looking for God or for religion the book is full of power, the book is full of relief, the book is full of so much joy, so many miracles, so many stories.. READ THE BOOK! It truly does change lives and the spirit pours out of it! The spirit is the greatest tool I have been able to utilize I would be no good without it in my lessons. I am able to do what I do because of the spirit and that is the greatest thing! I am so blessed to know of the truth! I truly came to realize how much I have taken advantage of the knowledge that I have the blessing that the constant companionship of the Holy Ghost is, to know who I am as a daughter of a Heavenly Father who has a plan for ME! I seriously wish I could describe to you all the wonderfulness that I have been enjoying here! Time is short and there is simply too much to fill in on, I'm sorry I am horrible with details just take my word.. I am happy and if you want to change your life for the better or simply be happier.. read the Book of Mormon and pray. Pretty simple but it's insane how well it really works! I am a missionary! Woo hoo! I came to recognize this week that I dont have to play a part to be the missionary I want to be I can still be Juli with her awkwardness and quirks and still share this gospel! Such a relief! haha Oh and the Tree i forgot to fill you in on the tree last week but there is a tree here and we heard a rumor about it.. supposedly one of them smells like cream soda.. well we wanted to find it but didnt want to go around sniffing trees.. we fell into some luck when we saw some others sniffing one.. we gave it a try and who would have believed it really does, it changes to butterscotch and similar smells once in awhile but oh it smells so divine! I love it! We will smell it once a day just to keep us laughing.. haha anyways on that lovely note I think I must say farewell! I hope all is great! I miss everyone! Keep smiling!!!
